Little House on the Prairie was the motive for this show. The house at the end of the runway and tumbleweed scattered all over the set, it was clear where the designer was headed with his inspiration for Fall 2017.
Actually it seems all the shows at NYFW has been a little in this direction, but at Coach the feel was exactly on point. Vevers has been honing the brand’s new ready-to-wear signatures with trimmings, shearling coats and tough-girl biker jackets sweetened with awesome embellishments. The line is so right now, timing is everything.
He killed us with the puffer jackets and the floral-print down-filled coats. They were as pretty as they were practical. I'm beyond excited to see where the the brand goes next.
