Olowu’s clothes showed us bold clashes of pattern, placed directly side-by-side on dresses and knitted separates. We saw rich florals and much needed tailoring. A sharp knee-length coat and an overtly feminine cape in a glistening leopard print, styled atop a stunning bias-cut dress that was eclectically bright and striped.
The details spoke. Olowu is already known for his prints however the new silhouettes of slip dresses showed us his appreciation of the curve of the body,
Duro Oluwo is a master teacher and we are all taking notes.
